We will have our Valentine’s Day Party on Tuesday, February 14.

A list is attached of all of the children in your child’s classroom.

The Raccoon Class children should try to write their name on the cards they give to their friends. Most of them should also be able to write their friends names as well. Start early so they can work on a few each night.

If you would like to bring something to our party please see the sign up sheet located next to the parent sign in board.

Children under age 8 must be properly buckled into a car seat or booster in the BACK SEAT.

Children age 8 or older may use the vehicle seat belt if it fits properly with the lap belt low on the hips, touching the upper thighs, and the shoulder belt crossing the center of the chest. If children are not tall enough for a proper belt fit, they must ride in a booster or car seat.

(FYI: 4’9” is the height requirement. The weight requirement has been lifted)

Everyone in the car must be properly buckled up. For each child under 16 who is not properly secured, parents (if in the car) or drivers can be fined more than $475 and get a point on their driving records.

If for some reason your child will be absent please call us before 9:00am to let us know.

Also remember that we would like all children to arrive before 9:00am.

Both of these things allow us to plan our day accordingly.

Please make sure to check your child’s cubby bucket weekly. They should have a change of clothes (for the season), and if needed diapers and wipes.

Also, don’t forget to check their “paper cubby” for their wonderful pieces of artwork!

The scholastic book orders are back for this school year.

If you wish to purchase items please make one check (for all orders) payable to 'Scholastic'.

You can also order online. Online orders earn our classroom a free book for every order.

Every order no matter how purchased earns our class points that we can then use to "purchase" books for our classroom

To date we have earned $507.38. We have used this money to purchase toys and supplies for the children.
(FYI: All of our new sandbox tables were purchased with this money this past summer).

The Snapfish account is finally finished and you can now view and print pictures of your children from Snapfish. You should have received an e-mail from me with the link to the account. If you did not receive on then please e-mail me and I will send you the link.
